Paul "Peewee" Allen Carter III, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on October 12, 2026, after a valiant battle with medical complications. Born on November 20, 1968, at St. Mary's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, Paul was a beacon of joy and strength to everyone he met. Paul was the eldest son of Paul and Marilyn Carter, who survive him, and a devoted husband to Stacie, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage of 30 years. His memory will be lovingly carried on by his son Tyler and his wife Taylor, his daughters Ashton and Alyssa, his brother Heath, and his adored grandchildren Corey, Kingston, Chase Jr., and Charlie. His presence will also be fondly remembered by his many nephews and a host of extended family and friends. A graduate of Turner High School in 1987, Paul embarked on a career at Carter Glass immediately after completing his education. He honed his skills through the Glaziers Union Local 558 apprenticeship program, becoming a respected professional in his field. Paul's dedication and craftsmanship were evident in every project he undertook. Paul's life was enriched by his love for the outdoors. Whether he was hunting, riding motorcycles, or simply enjoying the company of his family and friends, he embraced every moment with enthusiasm and joy. Known for his quick wit and smart-ass sense of humor, Paul had a remarkable ability to make those around him laugh and feel at ease. His bright blue eyes and infectious smile could light up any room, and his laughter was a balm to all who heard it. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Paul's memory to the M.S. Society, honoring his generous spirit and passion for life.
