It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul L. Webb Jr, a cherished husband, devoted father, beloved grandfather, and treasured friend. Paul departed this life on June 30, 2026, at the age of 80, surrounded by loved ones in a circle of warmth and affection that echoed the love he so generously shared throughout his life.
Born on November 12, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri, Paul was welcomed into the world by his loving parents, Paul L. Webb Sr and Willie Mack (Pace) Webb. From the very beginning, Paul exhibited a zest for life, an unwavering faith, and an innate ability to connect with others. These qualities would come to define him and endear him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Paul's journey through life was marked by steadfast devotion to his family. He shared 16 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Lela Webb, whom he wed on March 20, 2004, in Pilot Point, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, creating countless cherished memories that will be treasured by all who loved him.

His grandchildren, Riley Webb and fiancée Josie Conner of Iowa, LA; Preston and Parker Webb of Pilot Point, TX; Austin and Addison Webb of Springfield, MO; Achsen Akers of Krugerville, TX; and Lucas and Alma Riggins of Champaign, IL, were the light of his life. Known lovingly as "Pappy," Paul was their biggest fan and could always be found cheering them on at rodeos, games, and concerts.
Paul was a man of deep faith, serving as an active member and Lay Pastor at Ridin for The Brand Cowboy Church in Sanger, Texas, for over a decade. His devotion to spreading the word of Jesus was evident in his interactions with everyone he met. With a quick wit, infectious smile, and a heart full of kindness, Paul never met a stranger. He had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcomed and valued, and his generosity touched countless lives.
In addition to his immediate family, Paul is survived by his cousins Phillip Webb, Stephen Webb, and Larry Webb, and a special friend, Ronnie Hale, who held a son-like place in his heart. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Paul L. Webb Sr and Willie Mack (Pace) Webb.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held at Ridin for The Brand Cowboy Church, where his family and friends will gather to honor a remarkable man who left an indelible mark on all who knew him. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the church community, close friends, and everyone who has reached out with love and support during this difficult time.
