In Loving Memory

Paul Klespie Tarver
June 25, 1963 — May 30, 2026
Paul Klespie Tarver, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on June 25, 1963, in Warthen, Georgia, Paul was the cherished son of Cora Sue McLin and the late Kenneth Lewis Tarver.
Paul was a man whose spirit could light up a room. His laughter and love for life were infectious, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met. He was well-known for his vibrant personality, always joking around, and his playful banter, especially with his dear older sister, Louverne Marie Tarver. Paul’s sense of humor was his gift to the world, bringing people together and filling their lives with joy and warmth.
He spent his formative years attending Albany County Public Schools, where he not only gained an education but also formed friendships that would last a lifetime. Paul had a natural talent for making others smile, and he embraced every opportunity to lift the spirits of those around him. Whether he was out and about in his community or spending time with his family, Paul was the embodiment of joy and vivacity.
Paul’s family was the cornerstone of his life. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Francina Tarver (Houze), his father, Kenneth Lewis Tarver, his brothers Kenneth Lewis Tarver Jr. and Tim McKinght, and his sisters Sonya Tarver, Sharon Mallory (Tarver), and Lil Tarver. Despite these profound losses, Paul found solace in the enduring love of his surviving family: his devoted mother, Cora Sue McLin; his loving sisters, Louverne Marie Tarver, Natasha Tarver, Rose Birston, and MaryLynn Walters; and his brothers, Timothy Tarver, Terry Berkley, Eric Berkley, and Anthony Tarver.
His family extended beyond blood ties, as he was also adored by a host of stepchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Particularly dear to him were his favorite nieces, Naquisha Leverett and Zafarier Tarver, who shared a special bond with him, often known affectionately as his "arguing partners."
Although Paul did not have children of his own, he embraced his role as an uncle and friend with unparalleled enthusiasm. His family gatherings were never complete without his lively presence, and he cherished the time spent with his extended family, who were often the recipients of his good-natured teasing and endless affection.
Paul’s life will be honored in a private ceremony, as he wished. His legacy is one of laughter and love, and his memory will forever be a beacon of light to those who knew him. In remembering Paul, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with the simple joys of family, friendship, and humor.
As we say goodbye to Paul, we hold onto the laughter and love he shared with us all, cherishing the memories of a remarkable man who will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
