It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Green, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, who left us all too soon on July 5, 2026. Born on October 10, 1981, in beautiful Kingston, Jamaica, Paul was a beacon of light and love to everyone who knew him.
Paul was the cherished son of the late Moureen and George Green. He was also a devoted father to his beloved son, Sebastian Green. Paul leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be held in the hearts of his family and friends. He is survived by his son, Sebastian, and remembered fondly by his siblings: Okeisha Green-Smith, Natasha Green, Tamika Green, Nathaniel Green, Shevon Green, and Jovian Green. Paul is also lovingly remembered by his aunts Sherlene, Carrol, Janet, Neisha, and Crystal, as well as his uncles Dennis, Seymour, Lincoln, Horace, and Kevin. His grandmother, Norma, also held a special place in his heart.
Paul's journey began at MS390 middle school, where he laid the foundation of his education, before moving on to graduate from Prospect Heights High School. He chose a career as a construction worker, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
Those who knew Paul will remember his infectious smile, his passion for dancing, and his unique sense of fashion. He had an extraordinary ability to take a basic outfit and make it stylish, reflecting his vibrant personality and zest for life.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held on July 10, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Armstrong Funeral Home, located at 1922 Utica Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11234. The family invites all who knew Paul to join them in honoring his memory and sharing stories of the joy he brought into their lives.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and prayers they have received during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, they suggest that donations be made in Paul's memory to a charity of your choice.
Paul Green's life, though tragically cut short, was filled with love, laughter, and the joy of living. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace, surrounded by love and light.
