June 13, 1977 — August 22, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Paul Gilbert Folsom, who departed this life on August 22, 2026, at the age of 49, after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Born on June 13, 1977, in Jasper, Florida, Paul was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness and spirit touched all who knew him. Paul was the cherished son of the late Paul Gilbert Folsom Sr. and Helen Folsom, and he is predeceased by his mother-in-law, Patricia Plymel Ash, and his beloved grandchild, Baylor. He leaves behind a devoted family, including his wife of nearly 17 years, Annie Ash Folsom, whom he married on September 18, 2009. Together, they created a home filled with love, laughter, and happiness. He was the proud father of daughters Abby, married to Keaton Stone, of Jasper, FL, and Amber, married to Clifford Jackson, of Live Oak, FL. Paul is also survived by his six adored grandchildren: Keylon, Emma, and Dawson Snipes of Jasper, FL, and Huntley, Wesley, and Annley Jackson of Live Oak, FL. He will be deeply missed by his four sisters, two brothers, and many other family members and friends. Paul's education began in Hamilton County, Florida, where he laid the foundation for a fulfilling career. He was a dedicated employee at Pilgrims Pride of Live Oak, FL, where he demonstrated his expertise by authoring several equipment manuals that are still in use today. Paul's commitment to his work was only matched by his love for his family and his faith. A devout Christian, Paul attended The Orchard Church in Live Oak, FL, where he found strength and solace in his faith. Known for his down-to-earth nature, Paul was a true country boy who loved to fish. His heart was as big as his passion for life, and his warm, friendly demeanor made him a friend to all. A service to honor Paul's life will be held on August 26, 2026, at the Historic Cemetery of Dowling Park, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of one's choice, as a tribute to Paul's generous spirit. Paul Gilbert Folsom was a man of integrity, love, and laughter. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the memories of his joyous spirit and the profound love he shared with everyone he met.
