In Loving Memory

Patrick Woodward
June 8, 1970 — May 24, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick Woodward, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, who left this world peacefully on May 24, 2026, at the age of 55. Patrick was born on June 8, 1970, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late David Thomas and Dolores Carol Woodward. He was a cherished son and brother, joining his parents and his brother, Marcus Allen Woodward, in eternal rest.
Patrick is survived by his loving sister, Redeena McKamey, and his brother, David Allen Woodward, who will forever hold his memory close. He was a devoted uncle to his niece, April Hurley, and his nephews, Christopher Hurley and Corey Woodward, who adored their Uncle Patrick. His cousin, Jason Reynolds, who was also his best friend, will deeply miss their close bond and shared adventures.
For 30 years, Patrick was a dedicated and valued member of the team at Zink Distributor, where he worked as a truck driver. He loved his job and cherished the camaraderie with his colleagues, who, in turn, held him in the highest esteem. His commitment and work ethic were a testament to his character, and his presence will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Outside of his professional life, Patrick had a passion for video games, spending countless hours immersed in virtual worlds. He was also an avid gun collector, taking pride in his extensive collection. In his spare time, Patrick enjoyed working on his vehicles, often found under the hood, perfecting and tinkering to his heart's content.
Patrick's life will be celebrated at a service on May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, located at 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering a life that touched so many with warmth and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Patrick's memory to the American Cancer Society, a cause that was close to his heart.
Though Patrick may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His gentle soul and steadfast presence will be remembered always.
