In Loving Memory

Patrick Stanley Vandenbosch
May 14, 1959 — October 2, 2026
Patrick Stanley Vandenbosch, fondly known as "Pat," was born on May 14, 1959, in Muskegon, Michigan, to loving parents Stanley and Melba Vandenbosch. He peacefully departed this world on October 2, 2026, surrounded by the warmth of his family and the memories of a life well-lived.
Pat leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be cherished by those who knew him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Tamra Vandenbosch, who stood by his side through every joy and challenge. Together, they nurtured a family filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. His children, Timothy Woodruff and Jessica Quist, stepson Justin Dilday carry forward his zest for life, while his beloved grandchildren, Shae Woodruff, Kadin, Kenadi, and Xavier Quist, hold onto his spirit of fun and curiosity.
A man of many talents and passions, Pat found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was known for his love of riding motorcycles and cruising in his prized Camaro, a vehicle he lovingly restored with his own hands. Pat's garage was a haven of creativity where he passionately rebuilt motors and found solace in the art of tinkering. His laughter echoed through the walls of his home, often accompanied by the playful raspberry noise he was known for, ensuring smiles and joy for all who were near.
Nature called to Pat's adventurous spirit, drawing him to the riverbanks for fishing trips, the serenity of camping under the stars, and the peaceful retreat of a cabin where he could unwind while watching the wonders of the natural world unfold. In quiet moments, he found comfort in the timeless presence of John Wayne movies, a staple of his relaxation time.
Pat's sense of humor, kindness, and genuine warmth touched everyone he met. He leaves behind siblings Linda and Richard Lee, Mike and Caroline Vandenbosch, Stanley (Chip) and his partner Stephanie Mescall, and Debbie and Bernie Mast who fondly recall the laughter-filled moments and shared stories that defined their time together.
Though we mourn the loss of Pat, his memory remains a beacon of joy and strength. In honoring his life, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice, continuing Pat's legacy of kindness and generosity.
To those who knew him, Pat will always be remembered as the "Camaro guy," a title he wore with pride and joy. His spirit lives on in the roar of an engine, the open road, and the laughter of those who loved him.
We are currently planning a celebration of life to honor his memory and will share the date, time and location details as soon as they are finalized. Thank you for your love, patience and support during this time.
