In Loving Memory

Patrick LaPerle
August 21, 1968 — June 16, 2026
Patrick LaPerle, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, at the age of 57, surrounded by loved ones. Born on August 21, 1968, in the charming town of Montpelier, Vermont, Patrick graced the world with his presence, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him.
Patrick was the cherished son of Aline LaPerle and the late Adrien LaPerle, whose memory he held dear throughout his life. He grew up alongside his devoted sisters, Janet LaPerle and Rachel LaPerle, who admired his quick wit and boundless kindness. His niece, Alina LaPerle, was a source of immense pride and joy for him.
A proud graduate of Spaulding High School in the class of 1986, Patrick was a man of many talents and interests. He dedicated 39 years of his life to HEB Manufacturing as a skilled tool and die maker—a role he cherished deeply. In September of 2025, he embarked on a new chapter with New England Precision, continuing to find fulfillment in his craft and demonstrating unwavering dedication and expertise.
Patrick's passions extended far beyond his professional life. An avid gardener, he found peace and purpose in nurturing the earth, often sharing the fruits of his labor with friends and family. He was a man who found solace in nature, spending countless hours hiking Vermont's picturesque trails and basking in the serenity of his "Happy Place," The Swimming Hole. His love for canning was surpassed only by his joy in sitting by his fire pit, savoring the warmth of a quality craft beer.
His quick wit, intelligence, and fun-loving spirit made him a friend to all, always eager to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word. Patrick's generosity and willingness to help friends in need was legendary, as was his talent as a handyman—a skill he shared generously with those around him.
Patrick was an avid reader, finding adventure and knowledge within the pages of countless books. His life was a testament to the beauty of simplicity and the joy found in everyday moments.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patrick's life on June 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Pruneau-Polli, located at 58 Summer Street, Vermont 05641. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Patrick's memory to the Green Mountain Club, an organization that reflects his love for nature and hiking. Patrick LaPerle's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and the simple joys that make life beautiful. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and his memory will be cherished forever. Rest in peace, dear Patrick.
