His commitment to helping others in their times of greatest need was a hallmark of his character and earned him the respect and admiration of all who served alongside him.
After his military service, Patrick dedicated over 46 years to his career as an Independent General Contractor, serving clients throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. His expertise and dedication to his craft were unparalleled, and he took great pride in the relationships he built and the projects he completed.
Patrick was a proud resident of Monroe Township, NJ, where he lived a life rich with community involvement and personal passion. An active member of the Jamesburg Presbyterian Church, he found great joy in his faith and in the fellowship of his congregation. Patrick served as a counselor and leadership advisor with the Boy Scouts of America, guiding many young scouts on their journey to earning the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout. His dedication to the development and empowerment of youth was a testament to his generous spirit.
Beyond his professional and community contributions, Patrick was a man of diverse interests and hobbies. A classic car enthusiast, he delighted in participating in local car shows, sharing his passion with fellow aficionados. An avid NASCAR fan, he found great joy in the thrill of the race. Patrick also loved the serenity of nature, spending his free time boating, fishing, and scuba diving. He relished teaching scouts swimming and canoeing, passing on his love for the outdoors and the skills to enjoy it safely.
Patrick's life was a tapestry woven with love, service, and adventure. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and compassion that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. While he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever be a guiding light for his family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Patrick's life will be held at Jamesburg Presbyterian Church, with details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Patrick's memory to the Boy Scouts of America, an organization that held a special place in his heart.
