Patrick John Brandon

February 1, 1954 — August 29, 2026

Patrick John Brandon, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away on August 29, 2026, after a brief and courageous battle with lung cancer. Born on February 1, 1954, in Sacramento, CA, Patrick was a beacon of warmth and humor to all who knew him. Patrick was the beloved son of Mary June Brandon, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his devoted children: Thomas Bell, Patrick Brandon, Elizabeth Brandon, and Jessica Bell. He also leaves behind his sister, Margaret (Peggy) Hamon, and his two treasured grandchildren. Although his marriages to Rosanne and later to Julie Bell ended, he maintained a close and enduring friendship with Julie, who was an important part of his life until the end. Patrick's life was marked by his love for the outdoors and his passion for fishing, where he found peace and excitement in the pursuit of the next big catch. Cooking was another of his great passions. He delighted in crafting and modifying recipes, always eager to add his personal touch to every dish. A proud graduate of Sacramento State University, Patrick spent his career as a dedicated salesperson, starting at Blue Diamond Growers and later working with various rice mills throughout the Sacramento area. He retired seven years ago, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and integrity. Those who knew Patrick remember him for his quick wit and infectious hearty laugh. He was a master storyteller, capable of delivering even the most challenging news with warmth and understanding. His playful, onery streak made him fun to be around, and his kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on countless lives. Patrick's life will be celebrated at a memorial service on October 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM, at St Clair's Catholic Church located at 1950 Junction Blvd., in Roseville, CA. The family kindly suggests that those wishing to honor Patrick's memory consider making a donation to a charity of their choice. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Sutter Memorial Hospital and Roseville Care Center for their compassionate care and understanding during Patrick's final days. His presence will be dearly missed, but his spirit and the memories he created will remain in our hearts forever.
