Patrick James Somers, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 13th, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on March 17th, 1965, in Laconia, New Hampshire, Patrick was the beloved son of Michael Raymond Somers and Joanne Merle Somers, both of whom have passed away before him. Patrick's life was a testament to the values of hard work, dedication, and love for family. He spent many years as a truck driver, a career that allowed him to witness the vast beauty of the country and meet a multitude of people. It was a role he embraced with enthusiasm, finding meaning and satisfaction in the journeys he undertook. A man of simple pleasures, Patrick relished the quiet moments spent outdoors, whether it was fishing by a tranquil river, hunting in the crisp morning air, or enjoying a friendly game of darts. He took great pride in his extensive gun collection and was a skilled marksman, a talent he carried with quiet confidence throughout his life. Patrick's sense of humor was a gift to all who knew him. His easy, understated wit and perfectly timed jokes brought warmth and comfort to those around him, forging connections and creating memories filled with laughter. He is survived by his loving son, Tyler Somers, and his cherished grandson, Miles Somers, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. Patrick also leaves behind his siblings Cheryl Jameson, Michael Somers, Teresa Somers, Patricia Somers, Pamela Ryan, and Thomas Somers, as well as his niece Angela Fernandez, who was like a sister to him. His brother, Shawn Somers, preceded him in death. Patrick's legacy is also carried on by numerous other nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.
