In Loving Memory of Patrick Deon Tarver January 18, 1974 - July 8, 2026 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick Deon Tarver, cherished father, son, brother, and friend, who left this world too soon on July 8, 2026, after a tragic car accident. Born on January 18, 1974, in Phenix City, Alabama, Patrick was a beacon of joy and laughter to all who knew him. Patrick was the beloved son of George Tarver and the late Ruby Jean Tarver. He was predeceased by his loving mother Ruby J. Tarver, devoted cousin Continaer N. Evans, as well as his maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, aunts, and uncles. His warm spirit and infectious smile will be dearly missed by his surviving family, including his father, George Tarver, his loving daughters, Shakira Smith and Shaneque Lewis, and his sons, Kaison Tarver and Kobi Tarver. He also leaves behind his adoring two grandchildren, his four aunts, Essie M. Robinson, Annie M. Robinson (Virgil), Rosie Faniel, and Geraline Tarver, and three god-aunts, Barbara Weeks, Shirley Thompson, and Wanda Thorn (Kevin). Patrick's memory will be cherished by his four uncles, John L. Robinson (Mary), Jimmy L. Robinson (Carolyn), Daniel Tarver, and W.C. Tarver, and his god-uncles, Tommy Woods, and Mike Woods (Kim). A host of loving cousins, close friends, and other relatives will remember him fondly. Patrick attended Central High School, where he began forging lifelong friendships and developing a love for learning. His career as a construction worker at Aptim in Sulphur, Louisiana, was marked by his dedication and hard work. Colleagues and friends knew Patrick for his quick wit, warm smile, and hearty laugh. He was always ready with a joke to lighten the mood, and his kindness and generosity touched countless lives. Outside of work, Patrick found joy in the simpler things in life. He loved fishing, a pastime that allowed him to find peace and tranquility amid life's chaos. Music was another passion of his; whether listening or playing, it filled his soul with happiness. Patrick also enjoyed dancing, a talent he shared with family and friends at countless gatherings, where he made everyone feel welcome and valued. A celebration of Patrick's life will be held on July 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Battle and Battle Funeral Home, located at 434 S. Seale Rd., Phenix City, AL 36869. Family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched are invited to join in honoring his memory. Patrick Deon Tarver's legacy is one of love, laughter, and kindness. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
