Patricia Wickey
June 1, 1956 — February 7, 2026
Patricia "Trish" Wickey, a beloved mother, businesswoman, and devoted servant of faith, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, at the age of 69, with her loving son by her side. Born on June 1, 1956, in Camp Lejune, North Carolina, Trish's life was a testament to grace, resilience, and unwavering faith.
Trish was a cherished daughter and sister before embarking on her most treasured role as a mother to her two beloved sons, Thomas and William Wickey. Despite the heartache of leaving them too soon, she now joins them in eternity, where her spirit will watch over them with the same love and pride she held in life.
In New Smyrna Beach, Trish found not only a home but a community where she flourished both personally and professionally. As the owner of a successful painting business, which she ran alongside her son William, Trish's entrepreneurial spirit and keen eye for beauty left a lasting mark on the landscape of the town. Her work was not merely a means of livelihood but an expression of her creativity and dedication.
Her deep faith was the cornerstone of her life. An active member of Beachside Baptist Church, Trish's devotion to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior was evident in every aspect of her life. Her involvement in mission trips to spread the Gospel to third-world countries demonstrated her commitment to serving others and sharing the love and hope she found in her faith. Her church community was a second family to her, one that she nurtured with her kindness, generosity, and comforting spirit.
Trish was a woman of many passions. She found joy in the simple pleasures of spending time with friends and her sons. Her laughter and warmth filled every room, and her stories of faith and service inspired those around her to live with purpose and compassion.
Trish's legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering faith. Her kind and generous spirit, coupled with her comforting presence, touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her memory will continue to inspire and uplift.
Trish is survived by her sons, Thomas and William Wickey, who were the pride and joy of her life. Although she did not live to see grandchildren, her legacy lives on in the values and love she instilled in her sons.
A celebration of Trish's life will be held at Beachside Baptist Church, where her family and friends will gather to honor and remember her remarkable journey. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the church's mission fund, continuing Trish's passion for spreading hope and faith to those in need.
As we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, we do so with gratitude for the love she shared and the lives she touched. Trish Wickey's spirit will forever be a guiding light, reminding us of the power of faith, love, and service.
