Patsy was the cherished daughter of Stanley A. Murrill, Sr. and Willo Dean Conley Murrill. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her sisters Sandra Lynn Murrill and Nadine Faye Murrill, and her brother Stanley A. Murrill, Jr. Patsy shared an unbreakable bond with her family, and her memory will continue to light their paths.
Growing up, Patsy was known for her vivacious personality and her ability to form strong, lasting friendships. She was part of the first graduating class of John F. Kennedy High School in Sacramento, California, in 1968—a testament to her pioneering spirit and determination.
Patsy began her working life at a local 5 & Dime store, where she learned the value of hard work and responsibility. Her career journey led her to a fulfilling 40-year tenure at the California DMV, where she was known for her dedication and commitment, touching the lives of colleagues and customers alike.
A lover of life and laughter, Patsy was known for her love of Motown music. One of her most cherished memories was attending a Smokey Robinson concert in Las Vegas, a testament to her enduring passion for music and celebration. As children when they would move to a new place, Patsy and her siblings Stan and Connie loved to wake up early in order to explore their new neighborhood and share their findings with the rest of the family. Patsy had a zest for life that was infectious.
Patsy leaves behind her beloved sons, Stanley Williams and Chester III Williams, who were her pride and joy. Her legacy continues through her three grandchildren, Princess, Precious, and Chester IV Williams, who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.
