In Loving Memory of Patricia Scott Morrell
It is with profound sadness and heartfelt respect that we announce the passing of Patricia Scott Morrell, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and life partner, who departed this life on October 22, 2026. Born on May 16, 1951, in Panama City, Panama, Patricia lived a life defined by dedication, resilience, and a profound commitment to family and the well-being of others.
Patricia eventually made El Paso, Texas, her home, establishing roots and building a life centered on family, service, and her passion for nurturing young minds. Throughout her life, she exemplified the values of compassion, perseverance, and generosity, leaving a meaningful imprint on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A woman of remarkable character, Patricia devoted much of her life to the care, development, and education of children. Through the childcare centers she established, she provided a nurturing environment for countless children while offering reassurance and support to their families. Her final and particularly cherished endeavor, Kids Palace Child Care Center, stands as a testament to her dedication to early childhood care and her enduring commitment to creating opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive.
Patricia shared her life with her beloved life partner, Mr. Alexander Scott, a retired veteran of the Armed Forces. Their companionship was an important part of her life's journey, grounded in shared experiences and the bonds of family. Together, they built a life in which loved ones held a special place and family connections were deeply valued.
Her greatest blessings included her son Antonio Anderson Morrell and two beloved grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. As a mother and grandmother, Patricia cherished the moments spent with her family, creating memories that will remain a treasured part of their lives. The love she shared with her children and grandchildren forms an enduring part of the legacy she leaves behind.
Patricia's family extended beyond her immediate household. She is also lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, aunt, uncle and cousins whose shared histories, family traditions, and treasured memories remain an integral part of her story. These relationships reflect the enduring bonds of family that transcend distance and time, sustaining connection and affection across generations.
What made Patricia special was not only her dedication to her work or the responsibilities she embraced, but also the relationships she cultivated and the lives she touched along the way. Her kindness, willingness to listen, and ability to bring people together contributed to the lasting place she holds in the hearts of those who knew her. Through her family, her work with children, and the memories she created, Patricia leaves behind a legacy that will continue to be honored and cherished.
As her loved ones navigate this profound loss, they may find comfort in the memories they shared, the lessons she imparted, and the love that remains. Although her physical presence will be deeply missed, the significance of her life endures through the family she cherished, the children whose lives she helped shape, and the many memories that will continue to be recounted with affection.
“Those we love never truly leave us; they remain in the stories we share, the memories we cherish, and the love that time can never diminish.”
Thank you,
