October 20, 1941 — April 2, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Patricia Rose Stefanowicz, who departed this world peacefully on April 2, 2026, in Newport News, VA, at the age of 84. Born on October 20, 1941, in Pottstown, PA, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Helen Krayeski, who instilled in her the values of compassion, strength, and kindness that she carried throughout her life. Patricia's life was a testament to the power of love and dedication. She was a devoted wife to the late Stanley John Stefanowicz, Jr., with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising their children Christine Pearl (Ken), Mike Stefanowicz (Monica), and John Stefanowicz (Susan) with unwavering love and guidance. Patricia found joy in her role as a nurturing caregiver, dedicating many years of her life to her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her gentle touch and compassionate spirit left an indelible mark on the lives she touched, providing comfort and care to those in need. Her dedication to her profession was a reflection of her deep empathy and selflessness, qualities that also defined her personal relationships. Family was the cornerstone of Patricia's life. She was a beloved sister to Elaine, Leona, Helen, and Joseph, and she shared a special bond with her predeceased siblings, John Krayeski and Janet Eck. As a grandmother, Patricia's heart swelled with pride and love for her grandchildren—David, Kenny, Jackson, Jonathan, Ashley, and Harrison—and her four great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent in their company. Patricia's life was not without its share of sorrow. She was preceded in death by her dear husband Stanley, her cherished daughter Theresa, her beloved grandson Kyle, and her siblings John and Janet. Yet, even in the face of loss, Patricia's spirit remained resilient, and her capacity for love and hope continued to inspire those around her. Her warmth extended to her numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Patricia's legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Pottstown, PA, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved Stanley. The family invites those who knew and loved Patricia to join them in honoring her memory and celebrating the remarkable life she led. In remembering Patricia, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life defined by love, service, and unwavering dedication to family and community. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
