Patricia (Pat) Culverhouse

November 22, 1948 — July 26, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia "Pat" Culverhouse, who departed this world peacefully surrounded by her beloved family on July 26, 2026. Born on November 22, 1948, in Jacksonville, Florida, Pat lived a life full of love, joy, and devotion to those she cherished most. Pat was the treasured daughter of Eugene and Bernice (Radcliffe) Schramel. She was predeceased by her brother, Norman Dennis Schramel, and her dear daughter-in-law, Jessica Barrow Culverhouse. Her spirit and legacy continue to be carried forward by her devoted husband, Jerry Culverhouse, and their loving family—sons Daryl and his wife Lonnie Culverhouse, and Jason Culverhouse. Pat was also the adored grandmother to Jessica and Sophia Culverhouse, who were always the light of her life. A dedicated employee of the United States Post Office, Pat was known for her unwavering commitment and warm demeanor. Her colleagues and friends there remember her fondly for her infectious smile and kind-hearted spirit. Pat was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and found great joy in spending time with her family and friends, going on cruises, and testing her luck at the casinos. She was also known to enjoy the excitement of game shows, often sharing laughter and light-hearted moments with those she loved. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and as a proud member of the Haven Fellowship Church, Pat’s love for Jesus was evident and deeply felt by all who knew her. She took immense pride in ensuring that both her sons and granddaughters were saved, instilling in them the same faith and love that guided her own life. Her absence will be profoundly felt by her family, friends, and everyone whose lives she touched with her kindness and grace. While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived, full of love, faith, and treasured memories. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Pat's memory to a charity of your choice, honoring her generous spirit and enduring legacy. Pat will forever be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and the unwavering love she shared with all who were fortunate to know her. Her light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return. Rest in peace, dear Pat. You will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
