In Loving Memory

Patricia Meyer
July 25, 1941 — May 9, 2026
In loving memory of Patricia Meyer, a cherished soul who graced this world with her presence on July 25, 1941 in Ridgely, Tennessee. Patricia peacefully departed from this life on May 9, 2026, enveloped in the love and warmth of her devoted children and grandchildren.
Patricia was born to the late Mack and Gladys Tibbs, and was the beloved sister to the late Alice Proctor and Edward Tibbs. In her passing, she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable memories. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Meyer, with whom she celebrated an extraordinary 69 years of marriage on April 12 of this year. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and an enduring partnership that was a beacon of strength and devotion.
Patricia was a nurturing and devoted mother to her children: Paul Meyer and his wife Beth, Jeff Meyer and his wife Karen, Kelley Looker and her husband James, and Chris Meyer and his wife Lenora. Her love and guidance also extended to her grandchildren, Josh Meyer (Randy), Russell Meyer, Katie Wilson (Travis), Brandon Meyer (Alicia), Morgan Baker (Chance), Jake Meyer, Brady Looker, Erin Looker, Caleb Meyer, and Cody Meyer. Her great-grandchildren, George, Margaret, Lucy, Hendrix, Troy, and Cheyenne, were blessed to be touched by her warmth and generosity.
A woman of strong faith, Patricia was a member of Forest View Church of Christ for many years. She had a remarkable gift for crafting and organization and her home was a testament to her creativity, filled with lovingly made crafts that reflected her vibrant spirit. Patricia’s heart was as expansive as her creativity; she relished every moment spent with her family, finding joy in spoiling her children and grandchildren throughout the year. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support were the cornerstones of her family’s happiness and success.
Patricia's life will be celebrated on May 14, 2026, at Northridge Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 and services to follow at 2:00. Her family invites all who knew her to join in honoring her remarkable life and sharing in the stories of joy and love that she so generously imparted to those around her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Stroke Association in Patricia’s memory, ensuring that her legacy of compassion and care continues to touch lives in meaningful ways.
Patricia Meyer’s life was a tapestry woven with love, devotion, and an enduring spirit of kindness. Her memory will forever be cherished, her absence profoundly felt, but her legacy of love and family will continue to inspire and guide those she leaves behind.
