It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia Lynne Miller on May 28, 2026. Born on November 12, 1948, in Houston, Texas, Patricia slipped away quietly in her sleep, surrounded by the compassion of her dedicated medical team. Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late Norman G. Boyd and Maxine Steen, whose memory she cherished and honored throughout her life. Her parents' early departure from this world left a space she lovingly filled with her own expanding family and community. On April 15, 1986, Patricia married the love of her life, Grover R. Miller, beginning a beautiful chapter of partnership and adventure. Together, they embarked on a journey to southern Utah, where they founded a successful asphalt company that endures to this day, a testament to their shared vision and hard work. Through nearly four decades of marriage, Patricia and Grover raised a vibrant family, nurturing three children with love, wisdom, and a sense of adventure. Patricia's legacy lives on through her devoted husband Grover, their five children Jennifer, Jeff, Michael, Zac, and Alex, her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her siblings, brother Norm and sisters Lori and Marie. Her family was the centerpiece of her life, and she delighted in the joy of gathering them together, often as an excuse to host one of her famous barbecues or holiday celebrations. Her home was always a haven of warmth, laughter, and love, filled with the comforting aroma of her culinary creations. An alumna of Grand County High, class of 1966, Patricia carried with her the values of her education into all her endeavors. Her commitment to community and faith was evident through her active involvement with the First Southern Baptist Church, where she was a cherished member until her health no longer permitted her to participate actively. Patricia's genuine kindness and generous spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her countless friends and neighbors remember her as a woman of unwavering faith, boundless compassion, and an open heart. Though she has left this earthly realm, the love she shared with those around her will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration. In honoring Patricia's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate her life and legacy. During this time, the family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff and nurses at St. George Rehabilitation, Seasons Health & Rehab, and all the hospice and home healthcare professionals who provided care and comfort over the years. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, let us remember the profound impact she had on our lives and carry forward her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family and community. Patricia Lynne Miller will be dearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.
