December 29, 1945 — October 31, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Patricia Louise Brendlinger, who left this world peacefully on October 31, 2026, at the Aspire Nursing facility. Born on December 29, 1945, in Durham, North Carolina, Patricia was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her. Patricia was the cherished daughter of Edward and Harriett Daniel, and she carried their love and values throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward, but is survived by her beloved mother, Harriett, and her dear brother, Tom Daniel. In a love story that spanned six decades, Patricia married Carl Brendlinger on September 9, 1966, in Aurora, Missouri. Together, they built a beautiful life and family, raising two wonderful children, Michael Brendlinger (Robin) and Carey Moore (Chris). Her legacy continues through her four adored grandchildren: Haley Moore, Mason Moore, Sophie Brendlinger, and Lily Brendlinger, who will always hold her memory close to their hearts. A graduate of Aurora High School in 1964, Patricia was a lifelong learner and a woman of many talents. She worked as a cashier at Consumers grocery store in Springfield, Missouri, and her creativity shone through in her pursuits as a painting instructor, caterer, and participant in numerous craft shows. Patricia was a dedicated member of her community, actively participating in the PTA and serving as a board member for the Moberly Country Club. Her enthusiasm and energy were the driving forces behind many successful events. An avid golfer, Patricia delighted in playing alongside friends and family, especially during family vacations to Ocean Isle. She was a passionate supporter of Mizzou basketball and football, and her artistic flair was evident in the intricate photo books she crafted for her loved ones. Patricia found joy in watching the birds she fed, putting together puzzles, and playing cards with her grandchildren. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence was a source of joy and camaraderie for everyone she met. Patricia's ability to light up a room and make others laugh will be remembered fondly by all. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate caregivers at Aspire and the hospice staff from Compassus for their exceptional care and support during Patricia's final days. A private ceremony will be held to honor Patricia's life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Patricia's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart. Patricia Louise Brendlinger lived a life full of love, laughter, and kindness. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her family, friends, and community.
