Patricia passed away on March 15th, 2026 at the Abrazo West Hospital in Goodyear, Arizona after a brief hospital stay. Patricia was born on July 20, 1942 in Miles City, Montana to parents Melvin and Eleanor Score. The Score family moved from Miles City to Glendive in the fall of 1954. She graduated from Dawson County High School in 1960 in Glendive, Montana. She then graduated from Dawson County Junior College in 1962 and Montana State University in 1964. In 1964, she married Gary. She started teaching math and German in Livingston, Montana and continued teaching in Seattle, Washington after moving there in 1965. Pat taught until her daughter Karin was born in 1969, followed by her son Michael born in 1973 Her children were very important to Pat, and she was a stay-at-home mom supporting her children. She was a Camp Fire leader and participated in many of her kids' activities. After retiring, Pat and her husband moved to Sedona, Arizona in 2000 then to Goodyear in 2001. Pat was an accomplished pianist and organist. She started playing for the local church as a freshman in high school and continued playing for churches in Washington and Arizona. Pat loved family. She was very close to her sisters and looked forward to family events. She was especially fond of Christmas and would spend weeks decorating. She was a very kind and generous person who lived in strong faith and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Pat is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gary Haas of Goodyear Arizona; Daughter Karin and son Michael (Janna) and granddaughter Elena. Elena was a great joy in her life and Pat loved being a Grandma. She is also survived by her sisters Carol Engle and MaryAnn Knapp, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

I’m Free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah, yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee, God wanted me now; He set me free.
