Born in Queens, New York, on August 15, 1961, Patricia was the cherished daughter of the late Evelyn Johnson and John Preston, who preceded her in death. Patricia was a devoted family woman, whose life was a testament to love and resilience. She is survived by her beloved children Walter Smith, Renee Evans, Sharena Johnson, and Joseph House, as well as her cherished brother Terry Peterson. Her family continued to grow, blessing her with 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored and who brought immense joy to her life. A graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School, Patricia found her calling in the workforce with Candid Camera, where she contributed her skills as a dedicated housekeeper and secretary. Her colleagues remember her not only for her commitment and professionalism but also for her jovial spirit and the light she brought into the office. Patricia's faith was a cornerstone of her life. As a devoted member of the Jehovah's Witness community, she was known for her compassion and generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word. Her warm personality and infectious humor made her a treasured friend to many. To honor Patricia's life, a service will be held on August 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Union Temple, located at 1558 16th St. SE. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a woman who touched so many hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Patricia's spirit of giving and her desire to make the world a better place. Patricia House will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
