Patricia departed this world on June 1, 2026, at the age of 73, following a courageous battle with COPD. Her final days were a testament to her enduring strength and grace, qualities that defined her life. Born on October 2, 1952, in the vibrant city of Jersey City, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Pat and Jack Ward. From a young age, Patricia exhibited a zest for life, a love for learning, and an innate kindness that touched everyone she encountered. Her childhood in Jersey City laid the foundation for a life dedicated to family and community. Patricia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harry R. Dingman, with whom she shared many years of love, laughter, and companionship. Together, they built a family rooted in love and mutual respect, raising four wonderful children who would carry on their legacy. As a devoted mother, Patricia's nurturing spirit and unwavering support were constants in the lives of her children: Tina Dingman, Barbara Rivera, John Dingman, and Robert Dingman. Her love knew no bounds, and she was a guiding light in their lives, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams and face life's challenges with courage. Patricia's greatest joy came from her role as a grandmother. She doted on her twelve grandchildren, who were the apples of her eye. Her laughter and warmth filled every gathering, creating memories that will be cherished for generations to come. Family was the cornerstone of Patricia's life, but she also touched countless others through her kindness and generosity. Her home was a haven of warmth and hospitality, where friends and family alike were welcomed with open arms and a heart full of love. In accordance with Patricia's wishes and the family's request, a private funeral service will be held on June 7, 2026, to honor her memory. The family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time and respectfully asks for privacy as they remember and celebrate Patricia's life. Patricia Dingman will be remembered for her indomitable spirit, her unwavering love, and her boundless compassion. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
