Patricia Dingma

October 5, 1952 — June 1, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Dingma, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, who left us on June 1, 2026. Born to Emma and Jack Ward on October 5, 1952, in Tomriver, New Jersey, Patricia lived a life full of warmth, love, and unwavering dedication to her family. Patricia's journey through life was marked by her role as a devoted wife to Harry R. Dingma, whom she married on April 1, 1960. Together, they built a loving home and raised four wonderful children: Tina Dingma, Barbara Rivera, John Dingman, and Robert Dingman. Though Harry predeceased her, the love they shared endured and continued to grow through their family, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew them. A stay-at-home mom by choice and heart, Patricia dedicated her life to nurturing and guiding her children. Her home was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and learning, where lifelong memories were crafted with each passing day. Her selflessness and compassion were evident in every meal she prepared, every hug she gave, and every word of wisdom she imparted. Patricia's legacy extends beyond her children to her 12 cherished grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. She was their biggest cheerleader, offering unconditional love and support in all their endeavors. Her family was her greatest pride, and her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply. As her family lovingly states, "Patricia was a great mother and the best Grand Mother." Throughout a long battle with COPD, Patricia demonstrated incredible strength and resilience, qualities that inspired all who knew her. Her spirit remained unbroken, a testament to her enduring courage and grace. A private funeral service in honor of Patricia's remarkable life will be held on June 7, 2026, at 2:57 PM. As per her wishes, this intimate ceremony will be reserved for her closest family and friends, allowing them to celebrate her life in a way that reflects the love she so generously bestowed upon them. As we bid farewell to a remarkable woman, we hold dear the memories of her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering love. Patricia's legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched, an eternal reminder of the beauty of a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Patricia's memory by extending kindness to those around you, just as she did throughout her life. May we all strive to live with the same grace and compassion that defined her extraordinary journey.
