Born on May 6, 1974, in the close-knit community of Smithfield, North Carolina, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Jesse June Sanders and Christine Sanders. Her roots in Smithfield were deep, and it was in this nurturing environment that she blossomed into the compassionate and loving woman we all knew and adored.
Patricia's journey through life was marked by her devotion to her family and her community. She graduated from Lee County High School in Sanford, North Carolina, where she laid the foundation for a life characterized by dedication and service to others. Her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lee County Resting Home was a testament to her nurturing spirit and her commitment to providing care and comfort to those in need. Her colleagues and patients alike were touched by her gentle nature and her ability to bring light into any room she entered.
A pillar of her community, Patricia was an active and devoted member of First Baptist Church in Smithfield. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she found joy in worship, fellowship, and service. Whether participating in church services, supporting events, or offering a kind word and helping hand, Patricia embodied the teachings of her faith with quiet strength and compassion. Her church family was dear to her heart, and the friendships she nurtured there enriched her life immeasurably.

Patricia is survived by her beloved son, Steve Sanders of Smithfield, North Carolina, her cherished daughter, Gail Williams, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her legacy in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse June Sanders and Christine Sanders, as well as her dear relatives Beatrice Williams, Eugene Williams, and Joe Sanders.
In honoring Patricia's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate her life. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered support and condolences during this difficult time. They find comfort in knowing that Patricia's legacy of kindness, faith, and love will never be forgotten.
