Born on April 28, 1947, in Rockford, Illinois, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Marilyn and Eugene Knight, who instilled in her the values of kindness and acceptance—qualities she carried with her throughout her life. Patricia was the younger sister of William, who predeceased her, along with her beloved parents. Patricia was a woman who wore many hats and wore them all with a flair that was uniquely her own. Known for her goofy and wild spirit, she brightened every room she entered with her infectious humor and unmistakable zest for life. Her funny facial expressions and firecracker personality left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Her sarcasm was legendary, yet it was always laced with love and an underlying warmth that drew people to her.
