It is with both heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of our beloved Patricia Ann Little, who departed this world peacefully on April 26, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on October 5, 1938, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Patricia spent the majority of her life in the close-knit community of Hackberry, Louisiana, where she was warmly known and deeply cherished.
Patricia was the cherished daughter of Alvin and Inez Bonsall, who preceded her in death, along with her dear brother Alvin, her beloved son William "Billy," and her devoted husband, William "Bill." The bond she shared with her family was a testament to a life filled with love and unwavering support, and her legacy continues through those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her loving grandson, Blaine, and his wife Ashlyn, who brought immense joy to her life. Her daughter-in-law, Frances, along with Jennifer, Charley, Kinley, and Eli, will forever hold her memory close. Patricia also had a special place in her heart for her grand dog, Hank, who was a loyal companion in her later years.
Patricia's life was a testament to enduring love and commitment, having married her beloved husband William on November 21, 1959. Together, they built a life full of happiness and shared dreams. A graduate of Hackberry High School, Patricia embarked on a fulfilling career with Cameron Telephone Company, where she worked for many years before moving on to the Cecil Sanner Law Firm. There, she relished the opportunity to connect with countless people each day, always offering a kind word and a warm smile.
A devout member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Patricia expressed her faith through her participation in the choir, where her voice added to the harmonious spirit of the congregation. Her faith and community involvement were pillars of her life, providing her with strength and solace.
Patricia's heart was always open, especially when it came to her family. She treasured every moment spent with her grandson, Blaine, and nothing delighted her more than their shared trips to the Dairy Queen for an ice cream cone. Known for her vibrant spirit, Patricia enjoyed playing bingo and pokeno, where she delighted in the camaraderie of good friends and shared laughter.
As we celebrate Patricia's life, we find comfort in knowing that she is reunited with those who have gone before her, resting in eternal peace. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who shared in her journey, offering love and support throughout her life.
The family would like to express their deepest thanks to those who cared for Patricia and provided comfort in her final days, ensuring she was surrounded by love.
A service to honor Patricia's remarkable life will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, where friends and family will gather to remember a woman whose life was a beautiful testament to love, faith, and family. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Patricia's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her generous spirit and dedication to helping others.
