Patricia was a cherished daughter to Ernest and Helen Stinson, who predeceased her, along with her loving husband, Peter Coleman, her brothers Joseph Mayfield, Alonzo Ingram, and Gerald Stinson. She now joins them in eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. In May of 1990, Patricia married her soulmate, Peter Coleman. Their marriage was a testament to unwavering love and commitment, spanning 35 beautiful years. A devoted mother, Patricia is survived by her children: LaDrenda Black, Cynthia Emory (Thaddieus), Curtis Black (Melinda), and Cameron Black. Her nurturing spirit and unconditional love extended to her sister, Brenda Johnson (Billy), and brothers George Stinson (Beverly), Marcus Stinson (LaMisha), and Kenneth Stinson (Brenda). Her legacy continues in her 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her light and values. Patricia began her career as a skilled seamstress, a testament to her patience and attention to detail. Later, she transitioned into the retail industry, where her natural warmth and genuine interest in others forged countless friendships. Her ability to connect with people was unparalleled; there was truly no one who met her that didn’t love her, and her absence will be deeply felt by many.
