It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Pamela Rae Swierzb, who passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on January 20, 1944, in the heart of Mclennan County, Texas, Pamela was a beacon of compassion and strength, cherished by all who knew her.
Pamela was a beloved daughter of Raymond and Gladys Scott, who instilled in her a profound sense of kindness and resilience. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Thomas Swierzb, her brother, David Scott, and her sister-in-law, Bernadette Kubinski. Pamela is survived by her children, who were the pride and joy of her life: Karen Nance, Michael (Deb) Swierzb, Chris Swierzb, Michelle (Ron) Przybylski, and Tina Swierzb. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren: Katie, Josh, Jamesyn, Tommy, Tyler, Brandon, and Rebecca, who were blessed with her love and wisdom.
Pamela's academic journey led her to a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, a profession that she embraced with unwavering dedication. Her career was not just a job but a calling that allowed her to touch countless lives with her empathy and expert care. She was known for her gentle touch and a warm smile that could brighten the darkest days.
Outside of her professional life, Pamela found joy in the simple pleasures. She was an avid listener of 60s music, often reminiscing about the melodies that accompanied her through life's moments. She enjoyed the thrill of playing slots, finding excitement and camaraderie in the anticipation of each spin. Her love for her feline companions was unparalleled, and she often spoke of the comfort and joy her cats brought to her home.
Pamela's life was a testament to the power of love and kindness. She faced life's challenges with grace and left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her warmth and generosity knew no bounds, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
In addition to her immediate family, Pamela is survived by her brother-in-law, Jerome Swierzb, who, alongside her extended family and friends, will forever cherish her memory.
