Pamela Leigh Moorefield

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Pamela on September 9, 2026 at Atruim Wake Forest Hospital. Pamela was born on September 13, 1951, in Winston Salem to the late Sarah Louise Brown (Pruitt) Plummer and John Leland Pruitt. Pamela was a devoted mother to her daughter, Megan Brie Presenell-Ayers, and a loving grandmother to her beautiful granddaughter, June Grey Ayers. Pamela's caring nature extended to her sister, Gina Plummer Nickerson, along with Doug Moorefield and her many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins who survive her. In honor of Pamela's life, a service will be held on September 13, 2026, on what would have been her 75th birthday at Salem Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 120 S. Main St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101. The family invites all who knew her to join in a celebration of her life at 3:00 pm followed by the family visitation at 4pm.
