It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Jean Stean, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Pam departed this world on April 15, 2026, at the age of 65. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her devoted family, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Pam was born on June 16, 1960, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. From the very beginning, she radiated a warmth and kindness that touched everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Olson, and her father, Herbert Marion Tousson, her brother, Robert P. Olson, and her maternal grandparents, Harold and Irene Krueger. Their spirits surely welcomed her with open arms, reuniting in a place of eternal peace. Pam leaves behind her loving husband, Jerome Stean, with whom she shared a beautiful journey of love and companionship. They were married on September 19, 2008, after many happy years together. Their union was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect, and they shared a bond that was truly inspiring. Pam's mother, Rachel Williams, along with her husband Bob, continues to cherish her memory, alongside Pam's beloved daughters, Dezirae E. Olson and Jessica Olson, and her cherished bonus daughter, Amanda. Pam's legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Dominique Olson, Donald, Donayja, Demontre, and Dayvion Bell, and her five great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of her vibrant spirit and the unending love she showered upon them. Her siblings, Timothy Tousson (Mary), Herbie Tousson, Vanessa Tousson-Mcalister (Steve), Cherita Tousson-Bowens, and Chandler Stephens, along with an extended family of cherished relatives and friends, mourn her loss deeply yet celebrate the life she lived. Pam's career was marked by her dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. She found joy in every job she held, and her colleagues were often touched by her genuine kindness and unwavering spirit. Beyond her professional pursuits, Pam was a woman who found joy in life's simple, meaningful moments. She had an infectious love for old-school music and was often seen dancing with a radiant smile on her face. Concerts were a favorite pastime, and Prince was among her most cherished artists. Her vibrant spirit and genuine love for life were truly unforgettable, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. A memorial gathering to honor and celebrate Pam's remarkable life will be held on July 12, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Sullivan Lake Park, located at 721 51st Avenue NE, Columbia Heights, MN 55421. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Pam are invited to join in a celebration of her life, as we remember the joy, love, and laughter she brought into our lives. Pamela Jean Stean was a woman of strength and unwavering beliefs, whose love knew no bounds. Her beautiful soul and genuine spirit will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and joy will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
