Pamela Jean McElrath

Pamela Jean McElrath, cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on October 2, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio, Pamela was the beloved daughter of Winfred Wells Sr. and Patricia Wells. Pamela’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and generosity. She grew up in a close-knit family, alongside her siblings, Audrey Wells, Sherry Danelak, and Michelle (Orenzo) Daniels, who survive her. She was predeceased by her siblings, Winfred Wells Jr., Renee Wells, Kim Johnson, and Angie Luckett, whom she missed dearly and held close to her heart. Pamela graduated from Meadowdale High School, where she formed lifelong friendships and began to develop the nurturing qualities that defined her life. As a mother, she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her children, Floyd McElrath III and Tiffany McElrath, instilling in them the values of kindness and perseverance. Her nurturing spirit extended to her five grandchildren—Caleb Maki Smith, Shaunteahna McElrath, Floyd McElrath IV, Kaden McElrath, and Malachi Wilcox—as well as her great-grandson, Avery McElrath, all of whom were the light of her life. A woman of remarkable strength and grace, Pamela was known for her unwavering support and encouragement to family and friends. Her home was a gathering place filled with laughter and warmth, where stories were shared, and memories were made. Pamela’s legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire those who knew her. Pamela leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity. Her impact on their lives was profound, and her spirit will be remembered fondly by all. A service to celebrate Pamela's life will be held on August 18, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Glinickal Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and honor the incredible woman she was. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Pamela’s memory may make a donation to a charity of their choice. Her family hopes that through these acts of kindness, Pamela’s spirit of giving will continue to touch lives and make the world a better place.
