It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Hawthorne Dominguez, who peacefully departed this world on September 20, 2026, in the comforting embrace of her beloved family at her home. Born on June 19, 1952, in Pasadena, Texas. Pamela was born to PT Hawthorne and Ruth Anne Hardimon, She was preceded by her cherished brother, Perry Turner Hawthorne, as well as her beloved parents, PT Hawthorne and Ruth Anne Hardimon, whose memories she held dear throughout her life. She is survived by her sister Judy Hawthorne Smith. Pamela was the devoted wife of David Dominguez, with whom she shared countless cherished moments and a deep, abiding love. Together, they grew in love and strength through the years. She loved to crochet, and collect angels, and had a love for collecting and surrounded her home with all the treasures she found. As a mother, She leaves behind a legacy in her children: her daughter, Sonya McCarty; her sons, Jerry King and his wife Christina, Jason King and his wife Mary, and JD King. Her guidance shaped them in to who they are today. Pamela's legacy continues through her grandchildren: Zachary King, Brandon King, Larry McCarty, Alison McCarty, Michael Cavazos, Lauren King, and Scott King. Her heart was further blessed by her great-grandchildren: Levi King, Ryan King, Olive King, Kellin King, Atlas McCarty, Dahlia Knox, Rosalynn Simpson, and Mark Simpson. As we say goodbye to Pamela, we remember the glimmer in her eye and the strength of her spirit. She leaves behind her memory that will never be forgotten.
