January 5, 1966 — June 12, 2026
With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Pamela Carver, who left us on June 12, 2026, at the age of 60. Pamela graced this world with her presence on January 5, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio, and while her journey among us has concluded, her spirit lingers in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She passed due to old age, her wise knowledge leaving an indelible mark on all who were touched by her kindness and generosity.
Pamela was the beloved daughter of Johnny and Pauline Carver, who have preceded her in death, alongside other cherished family members. Her legacy continues through her three devoted children: her eldest son, James; her youngest son, Johnson; and her only daughter, Paris. Pamela's family was her pride and joy, and though she had no grandchildren, her love extended far beyond her immediate family, enveloping a vast network of relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Pamela's educational journey began at Shaw High School, where she graduated with distinction, earning her place as a top student who excelled particularly in math and science. Her high school years were enriched not only by academics but also by spirited participation as a cheerleader and member of the drill team. Pamela's vibrant personality left a lasting impression on both her peers and teachers.
Her professional career saw her thrive as a mechanical engineer at Ford Motor Company, where she dedicated a decade of her life. Pamela's passion for engineering and her remarkable skills allowed her to mentor upcoming engineers and lead the groundbreaking team that designed the 1998 transmission system. Her contributions in the workplace were as significant as the warmth and wit she shared with her colleagues.
Beyond her professional achievements, Pamela found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Family gatherings were her greatest delight, and she often said, "There is no me without them," underscoring her devotion to her children. Pamela had a profound love for music, especially R&B, and an adventurous spirit for travel, exploring the world with curiosity and joy.
Pamela was known for her quick wit and warm smile, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood. Her gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued was a testament to her character, as her kindness and generosity touched countless lives.
A celebration of Pamela's life will be held on June 23, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Cummings and Davis Funeral Home, located at 13201 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44112. The Carver family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported them during this time of loss, and they extend a special thank you to the staff at Cummings and Davis Funeral Home for their compassionate service.
