With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paige Popplewell, who left us far too soon on June 16, 2026, at the tender age of 31. Born on August 12, 1994, in the sunny city of Bakersfield, California, Paige was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Paige was the beloved daughter of Sean and Faune Popplewell, who cherished her deeply and nurtured her artistic spirit. She was a sister, a friend, and a confidante to many, always ready with her trademark big smile that could light up any room. Though her journey was marked by struggles with mental health, she faced each day with courage and a heart full of love for the world around her. A graduate of Battleground High School, Paige was known for her creativity and passion for the arts. Her love for drawing and painting was evident in the vibrant pieces she left behind, each stroke and color telling a story of her innermost thoughts and dreams. Paige also found solace in gardening, cultivating beauty and life with a gentle touch and a caring heart. For over a decade, Paige dedicated herself to her role as a grocery cashier, where her kindness and warmth touched the lives of countless customers and colleagues. Her genuine nature and cheerful demeanor made everyday interactions memorable and meaningful, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Preceded in death by her beloved Grandma Julie, Paige held her grandmother's memory close, finding comfort in recalling the love and wisdom she imparted. Now, they are reunited, watching over their family with grace and love. A celebration of Paige's life will be held on June 21, 2026, at 12:30 PM at the home of her cousin Stephanie, a place filled with fond memories and shared laughter. As we gather to honor her memory, we invite all who knew Paige to join us in remembering the joy and warmth she brought into our lives. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered support and love during this difficult time. Your presence and shared stories will serve as a testament to the beautiful soul that was Paige Popplewell. As we come together to celebrate her life, let us remember her with the same kindness and open heart she showed to the world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made in Paige's name to mental health organizations, continuing her legacy of compassion and care for others. Thank you for being a part of her journey and for celebrating our beautiful sister. Paige's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
