P Jean Lynch

October 3, 1941 — November 28, 2025

It is with profound sadness and enduring love that we announce the passing of P Jean Lynch, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this world on November 28, 2025, after a courageous battle with dementia. Born on October 3, 1941, in the vibrant city of Kingston, Jamaica, Jean enriched the lives of those around her with her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering spirit. Jean was the cherished daughter of her late parents, whose love and guidance shaped the compassionate woman she became. Her journey through life was marked by her boundless generosity and her steadfast commitment to her family, whom she held dear above all else. Jean is survived by her devoted son and daughter-in-law, who were the pillars of her support, and her four treasured grandchildren, whose laughter and love brought her immense joy. She was also blessed with the delight of a great-grandson, whose arrival filled her heart with renewed hope and happiness. Jean's legacy is carried forward by her three loving brothers, her caring sister, and a large, extended family that includes numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, alongside countless friends who became family over the years. Her life was a testament to the power of love and resilience. Jean faced life's challenges with grace and dignity, always finding strength in her relationships and her deep faith. Her home was a sanctuary of kindness, where everyone felt welcome and valued. A celebration of Jean's life will be held on June 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Valley Manor, located at 1570 East Ave. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor a life well-lived and a soul that touched many. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jean's memory to organizations dedicated to dementia research and support, helping others in their battle against this challenging disease. Though our hearts are heavy with her absence, we take solace in knowing that Jean's spirit will continue to guide us. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life fully lived. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her, a shining beacon of love and hope. Rest in peace, dear Jean. You will be missed more than words can express, but your love will continue to light our way.
