Owen’s journey through life was marked by hard work, humor, and an unwavering dedication to his family and community. He was a man of many talents, having forged a career that spanned multiple fields. As a master welder, skilled taxi driver, and enterprising small business owner, Owen embodied the spirit of ingenuity and perseverance. His contributions to his community were as varied as they were impactful, and he was admired for his ability to turn a simple idea into a meaningful reality. At the heart of Owen’s life was his beloved wife, Annette Fletcher, with whom he shared a bond that was both deep and enduring. Their love was a testament to the beauty of partnership, built on mutual respect, support, and a shared journey. Together, they nurtured a family that was both close-knit and expansive, filled with love and laughter. Owen was a devoted father to Ricardo Fletcher, Zorane Fletcher, Julian Fletcher, Dianne Fletcher, and Rowena Fletcher. Predeceased by his brothers John, Hughy, Felony Vernon, and William, Owen shared an unbreakable bond with his siblings. A man of simple pleasures, Owen loved nothing more than immersing himself in the action and adventure of karate movies or reveling in the rhythms that played on his cherished sound system, Ark Angel.
