Celebrating the Life of Milagros Venzon Bachiller With heavy hearts yet filled with profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Milagros Venzon Bachiller, who departed this world on April 2, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on December 15, 1934, in Manila, Philippines, Milagros was a beacon of love and kindness, whose life was a testament to the strength and beauty of the human spirit. Milagros was the cherished daughter of Theodora and Apong Anong Venzon. Her childhood in Manila was filled with the warmth of family and the vibrant culture of her homeland, setting the foundation for a life dedicated to love, compassion, and service to others. In 1976, Milagros emigrated to the United States, where she embarked on a remarkable career journey, beginning as a pharmacist in the Philippines and transitioning to a career as a toxicologist in the U.S., thanks to the support of a dear friend. Her professional life was marked by dedication and excellence, but it was her personal life where Milagros truly shone. Milagros was married to her lifelong partner, Francisco Bachiller, for over 55 years. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared a love story that spanned decades. Milagros was a devoted mother to her daughters, Hershey, Hazel, and Heartley, who were the light of her life. Her legacy of love continues through her three treasured grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. Her faith played a central role throughout her life. As an active member of her church, Milagros found strength and purpose in her spiritual beliefs, which she shared generously with her family and community. Milagros had a deep passion for gardening and cooking, with her home filled with the aroma of her delicious meals that carried a special ingredient—her love. Her garden was her sanctuary, a place where she nurtured her beloved flowers, finding peace and happiness in nature’s embrace. Her cooking was legendary, each dish a reflection of her generous spirit and love for those around her. Milagros’ radiant smile and kind heart touched everyone she met. Her love was a constant, unwavering presence in the lives of her family and friends. She was predeceased by many dear family members, including her daughters Hershey, Hazel, and Heartley, and her siblings, Mila Ochoa, Eddie Venzon, and others. She is survived by her devoted husband, Francisco, who remains a pillar of strength for their family. As we gather to celebrate her life on May 23, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the Patriot's Chapel at Forest Lawn, located at 4471 Lincoln Ave., Cypress, CA 90630, we invite all who knew and loved Milagros to join us in honoring her memory. Her life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. We love you, Milagros. We miss you. We always will. May her soul rest in eternal peace, forever cherished in our hearts.
