Orlando was the cherished son of Louis and Zelphia Brinson, who raised him alongside his siblings in a nurturing and loving environment. He is survived by his beloved son, Chace Brinson, who was the pride and joy of his life. Orlando also leaves behind his devoted siblings: Deborah McGee of Alexandria, VA; Louis Fitzgerald Brinson and his wife Rosalyn of Salt Lake City, UT; Stacy Brinson and his wife Melissa of Greenville, NC; and Lawanda Brinson of Fayetteville, NC. His legacy is further carried on by his loving nieces and nephews, numerous relatives, and dear friends, including his treasured friend, Tonya.
A proud product of Fayetteville City Schools, Orlando went on to earn a degree in Finance from Winston Salem State University. His journey at university was marked by his remarkable talent in basketball, a sport he pursued passionately after being discovered during a pickup game. His athletic abilities and his hard work earned him a scholarship, a testament to his dedication and skill on the court.
Although he had a brilliant mind and a natural talent with numbers Professionally, Orlando spent his career as an auto mechanic, where his engaging personality and infectious smile left an indelible mark. He was not only known for his expertise but also for his readiness to lend a helping hand. To Orlando, no one was ever a stranger, a quality that mirrored his parent’s generous spirit.
