Born on February 16, 1936, in Spiro, Oklahoma, Delores was the beloved daughter of Orval Goines and Bertha Walker. Delores spent her life creating a warm and welcoming home, dedicating herself as a homemaker to the family she adored. Her nurturing spirit was felt by all who knew her, and her home was often filled with the delicious aromas of her cooking, the vibrant colors of her garden, and the comforting hum of her sewing machine. Her hobbies extended beyond the home as she delighted in traveling, exploring new places, and experiencing the richness of different cultures. Each journey she took added stories and memories that she lovingly shared with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Orval and Bertha, and her brother, Robert Edwards. Delores leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Sandra Edwards and Janet Jackson, her five beloved grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish the lessons and love she imparted to them. Her kindness and generosity also touched many dear friends who were like family.
