Born on September 10, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ora was the cherished daughter of Cebell Watts and Watkins Beasley. As the years unfolded, she became the heart and soul of her extensive family. Her parents and siblings Minnie P. Copeland, Patricia Beasley, Bobbie Jean Jackson, Kenny Beasley, Louise Green, Clee Beasley, Bobby Beasley, and Ordell Beasley, as well as her beloved daughter Renee Evans, preceded her in death. Despite these profound losses, Ora remained a beacon of strength and unity for her family.
Ora's life was a testament to the power of love and family. She is survived by her devoted children, Micheal Hannah and Emma Calloway, who inherited her gentle spirit and love for life. Her presence will be deeply missed by her siblings Bonnie Beasley, Mary Watts, James Beasley, and Ernestine Griffin, as well as her grandchildren Jonathan Hannah, Jonethia Hannah, Larhonda Hannah, and Lemar Hannah Sr. Her legacy of love and kindness extends to her 17 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her heart.

Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and hospitality, where family and friends gathered to create memories that will be cherished for generations. She was a woman of quiet strength, whose gentle words and loving actions left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Her family will remember her as a nurturing matriarch, a wise confidante, and a steadfast friend. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her generosity of spirit touched all who crossed her path. Ora's life was a beautiful symphony, composed of the simple yet profound notes of love, compassion, and resilience.
A celebration of Ora's remarkable life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share stories of the many ways she touched their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ora's name to the American Lung Association, reflecting her enduring spirit of giving and her courageous battle against COPD.
Ora Bell Evans's legacy is one of love—a love that will continue to inspire her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing that her spirit will forever be a guiding light in our lives, a testament to the beauty of a life well-lived.
