Born on September 30, 1977, in Las Canoas Zacapu, Michoacan, Mexico, Omar was the beloved son of Jose Luis and Ana Maria Valencia. He grew up surrounded by the love of his family and the vibrant community that shaped his compassionate spirit. In January 1999, Omar married his devoted wife, Lucina Mondragon Valencia. Together, they created a loving and nurturing home, raising their wonderful son, Omar Valencia, Jr. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, marked by shared joys and steadfast support during life's challenges. Omar's family was the center of his world, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will continue to guide them. Omar was a treasured member of the Minton Farms family, where he worked with dedication and pride for over two decades. His strong work ethic, loyalty, and commitment were the hallmarks of his career. Known for his dependable nature, Omar was more than a colleague; he was a trusted friend whose contributions to the farm were invaluable. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of working alongside him. Those who knew Omar will forever remember his warm smile, caring heart, and the generous spirit that defined him. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Abdon Valencia, his brother, Luis Valencia, and his parents-in-law, Benjamin and Natividad Mondragon, as well as his brother-in-law, Javier Mondragon. A service to honor Omar's life will be held on October 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made to a charity of one's choice, in memory of Omar's generous and giving spirit. Omar Valencia Rodriguez will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
