Olivia Victoria Wooden, affectionately known as Vicky, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, NC. Born on April 24, 1958, in New Rochelle, NY, Vicky lived a life filled with love, laughter, and leadership. The beloved daughter of the late William Doodle and Lizzie Wooden, Vicky was also predeceased by her cherished sister, Regina Wooden. She is survived by her devoted children, Shirell Florus (Jeff) and Antwan Wooden. Vicky was the proud grandmother to eight grandchildren, each of whom she adored with all her heart. Throughout her life, Vicky was the embodiment of strength and determination. Her career in the fast-food industry saw her rise to managerial positions, where she exemplified the qualities of a born leader. Known for her "loud and contagious ways," Vicky was always the boss, a true Taurus with an indomitable spirit. Her strength was both her hallmark and her charm, and her family fondly remembers her at times being "strong and sometimes wrong, lol." Vicky's life was enriched by her passion for shopping. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, spending countless hours with her family playing cards, listening to oldies, and savoring good food. Her heart was often filled with sweet laughter and m The love of her life, Ronnie, shared in her journey, and together they created a lifetime of beautiful memories. Vicky's family was her world, and her nurturing spirit was a constant source of strength and comfort to those around her.
