Olivia Inez (Martinez) McDonald, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on October 29, 2026, at the age of 46. Born on January 3, 1980, in the warm embrace of Florence, Arizona, Olivia's life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and unyielding love for her family and community.
Olivia was the cherished daughter of Lupe and Glenda Martinez, who predeceased her, leaving a legacy of love and compassion that she carried forward throughout her life. She graduated from Coolidge High School in 1999, where she forged lifelong friendships and began to develop her well-known quick wit and warm-hearted nature.
Olivia's early career saw her working as a dishwasher and prep cook at Tag's Cafe, where she was cherished by colleagues for her hard work and camaraderie. However, her true passion was found at home, where she dedicated her life to being a homemaker and a devoted stay-at-home mom. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured every ounce of her love and energy into creating a nurturing and joyful home for them.
On February 18, 2012, Olivia married the love of her life, Robert Hernandez McDonald Jr. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Olivia was a doting mother to her two cherished daughters, Rachael Kulenty-McDonald and Maria Elena Kulenty-McDonald, who were her pride and joy.
Olivia's kindness knew no bounds, and she was known for her generosity to those in need. Her friends and family will always remember her for the warmth she brought into their lives and her ability to find humor and light even in the most challenging times.
A service to honor and celebrate Olivia's life will be held on November 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 7900 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85207.
