It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Olga Preciado Cunningham, who left this world on June 1, 2026, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 24, 1957, in San Jose, California, Olga was a beacon of light, love, and resilience to all who knew her. Olga was the cherished daughter of Guadalupe Martinez. She was the beloved wife of John Cunningham, whom she married in 1987. Her legacy continues through her surviving children, daughters Melissa and Wendy and son Kenny, whose lives were enriched by her unwavering love and support. Olga was predeceased by her beloved mother, Guadalupe and siblings, Linda, Anita and Johnny, and by her precious daughters Valerie and Monica, a loss she bore with immense grace and strength. She took great pleasure in nurturing the lives of her four beloved grandsons—Jacob, Kenny Jr., Enzo (Lorenzo), and Declan—whom she adored beyond measure. Family was the cornerstone of Olga's life. Her surviving sisters Alva, Susie, Mary, Corina, and Christina, and brothers Danny and Eddie, held a special place in her heart. A beloved Tia, Olga also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well as cousins and friends, all of whom were touched by her kindness and generosity. Olga was known for her beautiful smile, a reflection of the joy she found in the simplest pleasures of life. Whether surrounded by family or friends, she cherished every moment, making everyone feel valued and loved. Her laughter was infectious, and her compassion boundless, traits that will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her family invites all who knew her to join in remembering the wonderful life she led, the love she shared, and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. A service to honor and celebrate Olga's life will be held at Graham-Hitch Mortuary located at 4167 First Street, Pleasanton, on June 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. for adults only, please. As we say goodbye to Olga, we hold onto the countless memories and the profound impact she had on our lives. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit remains with us, a lasting testament to a life beautifully lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Olga's memory to a cancer research foundation, in hopes of finding a cure for the disease she so bravely fought. Rest in peace, dear Olga. You will forever be in our hearts.
