Okla Allen Keith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Okla Allen Keith, affectionately known as Oakley, on August 4, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on April 22, 1961, in Manassas, Virginia, Oakley lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to family and friends. Oakley was the cherished son of Fredrick Lee Keith and Barbara Ann Colbert Keith. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, his brother Audie Keith, his precious grandson Zaden Richard, and his dear niece Stephanie Keith. Oakley's memory will be deeply treasured by his surviving family, which includes his children: Allen Keith and his wife DeeDee of Texas, Rhonda Salazar and her husband Alex of Virginia, Kelly Keith of Virginia, and Adam Keith and his wife Felicia of Maine. His legacy also lives on in his grandchildren: Michaela, Bryan, Michael, Stassi, Jace, Aarynn, Kendra, Andricks, Channing, Abbygail, and Lillian. Oakley is also survived by his devoted brothers, Gary Keith and his wife Sharon, and Mike Keith and his wife Sheri. He was a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews: John, Jessica, Christopher, Amy, Patrick, Zack, Suzanna, and Leighanne. Oakley's life was enriched by their presence, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Throughout his life, Oakley was known for his kind heart and generous spirit. He found joy in simple pleasures and had a passion for his hobbies, which brought him immense happiness and allowed him to connect with those around him. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff on 3B at the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia. Their compassionate care and kindness provided comfort to both Oakley and his family during his final days. In honor of Oakley's memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Oakley's own spirit of generosity and love for others. As we remember Oakley, we are reminded of the words of Mother Teresa: “It’s not how much you do, but how much love you put into the doing.” Oakley lived his life with immense love, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
