Odin Bliss
October 19, 1999 — May 31, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Odin Bliss, a cherished son, brother, and grandson, whose vibrant presence left an indelible mark on all who had the fortune to know him. Odin departed this world on May 31, 2026, at the tender age of 26, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will resonate in the hearts of many for years to come.
Born on October 19, 1999, in the quaint town of Guilford, Vermont, Odin was a beacon of light and laughter, whose intelligence and warmth touched everyone he met. From an early age, Odin possessed a natural curiosity and a quick wit, which he carried with him throughout his life. He demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination, earning his GED at the age of 17, a testament to his unwavering perseverance.
Odin's life was woven with a deep love for music and the arts. A passionate guitar player, his melodies brought joy and solace to those around him. Beyond his musical talents, Odin found joy in the digital realms as a video game aficionado, where he connected with friends and explored new worlds with enthusiasm and creativity.
His professional journey was as diverse as it was enriching. Odin began his career as a prep cook at Mount Snow, showcasing his culinary skills and love for cooking. He carried this passion into his roles at the Marlboro Music Festival and as a caterer for The Vermont Table. Additionally, he contributed his talents to the maintenance and ice cream stand at Kamp Fires and as a member of the landscape team for Lisa Burke in Dover. In every role, Odin's dedication and work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
Odin's heart was as generous as it was brave. Known for his kindness toward the less fortunate, he was always ready to extend a helping hand, often giving to others even when he had little himself. His strong sense of justice compelled him to stand up for those who were mistreated, reflecting a character marked by empathy and integrity.
Odin is survived by his devoted mother, Janice Bliss; his beloved brother, Griffin Bliss; his loving grandmother, Cheryl Allen; his cherished great-grandmother, Bah; and his supportive stepfather, Chris Parkins. Each of them holds dear the memories and love Odin shared with them, and they are comforted by the knowledge that his spirit and influence endure.
A memorial service to celebrate Odin's life will be announced at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the beautiful soul taken too soon.
Odin Bliss leaves behind a world made warmer and brighter by his presence. Though his journey was cut tragically short, the impact of his life will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him. May his gentle soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to us all.
