Nuno Brito

February 22, 1976 — August 9, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nuno Brito, who left us on August 9, 2026, at the age of 50. Nuno, a beloved son of Teodolindo and Merita Brito, was born on February 22, 1976, in the picturesque land of Portugal. He spent his life surrounded by love, laughter, and cherished memories. Nuno leaves behind his devoted spouse, Jacqueline Fagundes, with whom he shared over 15 years of love and companionship. Together, they created a world filled with joy and laughter, and their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them. He is also survived by his brothers, Ricardo Brito, David Brito, and Duarte Brito, who were not only his siblings but his lifelong friends and confidants. For over a decade, Nuno dedicated his talents to Silva Cabinetry & Stone as a Stone Project Manager. His colleagues remember him not just for his expertise, but for his unwavering friendship and camaraderie that brightened their days. Nuno's quick wit and warm smile were ever-present, and he had a unique gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. Outside of work, Nuno found peace and joy in nature. He was an avid fisherman, loved to spend his days at the beach, and enjoyed biking and relishing the serenity of being by the water. His love for animals was well-known, and pets always held a special place in his heart. Nuno faced his final challenge with courage and grace, leaving us peacefully after a courageous battle. His strength and resilience were a testament to the remarkable person he was. Family and friends are invited to honor Nuno's life at a service to be held on August 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Yorktown Funeral Home, located at 945 E Main Street, Shrub Oak, NY 10588. The service will be a celebration of his life, love, and the indelible mark he left on all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made in Nuno's memory to a charity of your choice, as a way to continue his legacy of kindness and generosity. Nuno Brito will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
