November 18, 1974 — July 1, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heartfelt gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Nuku Alofa, who left this world peacefully asleep on July 1, 2026, at 4:30 AM. Born on November 18, 1974, in the serene town of Corsham Hill, Nuku's life was a testament to kindness, service, and unwavering devotion to family and community. Nuku was the cherished son of Anna, who instilled in him the values of compassion and resilience. Predeceased by his beloved Grace, Nuku is survived by his devoted wife, Ani Cena, whom he married on July 16, 2001, in a beautiful ceremony in Chicago. Together, they built a life full of love and shared dreams. Before Ani, Nuku was married to Elizabeth, his loving partner for 38 years until her passing in 2013. Nuku's journey through life was marked by dedication and diligence. He proudly served his country in the military from 1982 to 1989, a period that shaped much of his character and sense of duty. After completing his service, he pursued higher education, graduating from university in 2000, ready to embark on his next adventure. His professional life was as fulfilling as his personal one, with a rewarding career at Fird Umi. Nuku's colleagues remember him for his sharp wit and unwavering integrity. Outside of work, Nuku was an avid volunteer, lending his time and talents to various organizations and causes that were dear to his heart. His commitment to helping others was truly inspiring, and his community has felt his loss deeply. Nuku's hobbies and interests were as varied as they were vibrant, painting a picture of a man who embraced life with enthusiasm. Those who knew him will forever remember his quick wit, which brought joy and laughter to those around him. A service to celebrate Nuku's life will be held on November 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Friends and family will gather at the Cheaper venue in Venue City to honor his legacy and bid farewell to a remarkable man. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Nuku's lifelong commitment to giving. Their family wishes to express their deep appreciation for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Nuku's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and generosity. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May his soul rest in eternal peace, as his memory continues to inspire us all.
