Norman E. Williams AKA Pop, Willy, Teddy, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on August 26, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness. Born on April 25, 1951, in Montreal, Canada, Norman's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, dedication, and service. Norman was the beloved son of Norman Eric Williams and Grace Ida Spice. He was predeceased by his siblings Joan A. Williams, Grace (Pinky) Cayer, David Williams, James Williams, and Richard Williams. He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Marilyn A. Williams, who stood by his side through every joy and challenge. A graduate of Milford High School in Connecticut, Norman dedicated himself to serving his adopted country in the United States Navy from June 27, 1969, to March 2, 1973. His commitment to his country was further solidified when he received his Certificate of United States Naturalization on June 19, 1990. After his military service, Norman found his professional calling at Southern States Coop in Ranson, WV. For 39 years, he dedicated himself as an applicator for the farmer's crop fields, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and community members alike. Norman's love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. He leaves behind his son, Brian E. Williams, and daughter-in-law, Jennifer M. Williams, who enriched his life with two cherished grandsons, Evan R. Williams and Christopher E. Williams. Norman's family extended beyond humans, as he also adored his grand puppy, Solo. Norman's siblings and their families, including his brother Robert Williams and sister-in-law Kathleen Williams, sister Dawn Ryan, and sister-in-law Linda Thomas with her husband Vernon Thomas, along with Wendie Hood and her husband Alan Hood, were all vital parts of his life. He was also close to his brother-in-law, Bernard (Bernie) Cayer. His best friend, Larry (Peachy) Grove, shared countless memories and adventures with him, embodying a friendship that stood the test of time. Norman's legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him.
